Inside Whiskey Blue, the mid-century modern design comes to life: classic modern styled sofas are paired with contemporary side chairs, tables and accessories to create the feel of a residential living room with intimate seating for cocktail party comfort. Warm wood flooring and inset carpets in rust and red tones are juxtaposed with multi-colored shag rugs with over-scaled abstract patterns. A palette of warm neutrals, ivory, saturated greens and rusts define the smaller, intimate seating groups in the heart of the space. The back wall of the bar features a dramatic 18-foot video wall of interchangeable images, set in striated stone and offset by a warm walnut bartop. Throughout the bar are vintage rock and roll photographs in brilliant Technicolor.
Glass walls separate Whiskey Blues interior from the two exterior terraces that extend the bars mod glamorous atmosphere under the stars. Open to the sky above, the Buckhead Terrace is a decadent, open-air living space adorned with pony skin wing chairs and laser-cut vinyl area rugs. U-shaped seating groups encourage socialization and star-gazing, while private, intimate seating for VIP guests can be created with panels of sheer drapery suspended from the roof. The perimeter of the terrace features a privet hedge that provides a natural wall of privacy from adjacent buildings.
