About Forest Park
Forest Park is an urban park located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is spread over 1,500 acres of land and hosts numerous events throughout the year. In addition to regular festivals and gatherings, Forest Park also has an outdoor theater and a golf course that is open to the public. Forest Park is known for its tree-lined streets and beautiful parks, the largest of which is Piedmont Park. Forest Park is bordered by Virginia-Highland on the east, Ansley Park on the north, Peachtree Heights on the west and Midtown and Buckhead on the south. The neighborhood is home to several prominent homes including those owned by civil rights activist W.E.B Du Bois, former Mayor of Atlanta Ivan Allen, Jr., founder and owner of Integral Group LLC, David Taffet and world class medical executive at Grady Hospital Ralph Cooper.
