Description
While lacking the curb appeal of other Atlanta clubs from its corner at Spring and 3rd, sandwiched between an urgent care facility and a fast food joint, this legendary hip-hopping hotspot is a huge draw for late nights out. On weekends, cars often line surrounding streets for after-hours hanging as crowds line up to saunter under the glowing canopy and catch a glimpse of scorching go-go boys. Since its early days as Loretta's, the updated Club 708 has drawn predominantly African-American gay and lesbian party-hunters for dancing and socializing. But all are welcome here and the high-energy scene and sociable atmosphere make for a fun night out in Midtown. Today, the multi-level club with its impressive three dance floors is famous for weekly theme nights and events. Happenings include Knockout Saturday, all-night after parties on Sunday, Walk It In Tuesdays and Mini Ball Wednesdays.
