Unite Here Local 23 Atlanta

UNITE HERE Local 23 represents 7,000 workers in the food service industry of the Atlanta, Washington, DC area, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Albuquerque. Our members work in many job sites – including government cafeterias, business cafeterias, restaurants, university dining halls, convention centers, stadiums, and airports. We greet the guests and prepare and serve the food for guests, students, government workers and travelers to our area.

UNITE HERE is the union of workers in North America's hotel, gaming, restaurant, food service, laundry, and textile industries. It was formed in July 2004, from the merger of UNITE!
