Peter Mayer & Brendan Mayer - The 'Long Story Short' Tour

Peter Mayer and Brendan Mayer are crossing the country showcasing songs from their newly released album “Long Story Short.” This duo of father and son have crafted
songs that range from moody and melodic to rhythmically driving, their voices joining in a tight blend that leans on the bloodline. “Long Story Short” is a collection of songs that note the mile markers of life, love and the incidents and accidents down the road.

Included on the album are 10 songs written by Peter and Brendan, along with writers Mac McAnally, Aaron Scherz and Roger Guth. The duo also offers its take on three
songs from Paul Simon, James Taylor and Jimmy Buffett. The album was recorded at Evergreen Studios in Nashville and features musicians Mac McAnally on guitar, Chris
Walters on keyboards, Jim Mayer and Zeb Briskovich on bass, Roger Guth and Eric Darken on drums and percussion. Peter Mayer is in his 28th year of performing as lead
guitarist with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, in addition to leading the Peter Mayer Group. Brendan released his first EP in 2014 entitled “Getaway Car” and is
currently an artist on Mailboat Records. Originally growing up in St. Louis Missouri, Brendan and Peter currently live in Nashville, Tennessee and perform regularly at
venues across the nation.
