LBC is a private neighborhood swim and tennis community. Facilities include a 25 yard heated pool with water slide and diving well, 5 lighted tennis courts, covered baby pool and shaded playground, poolside concessions and picnic area.
Event Details
LBC’s annual Memorial Day Tennis Tournament is scheduled to start Friday, May 24th! The format is mixed doubles round robin, with 10 slots for women and 10 for men on both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7pm. All levels of players are welcome!! This is a great opportunity to meet tennis players at LBC. Just sign up, come out, and have some FUN!
Entry fee is $5 for members and $15 for non-members. Balls, drinks and snacks will be provided Friday and Saturday nights.
The top 2 men and top 2 women from each night will advance to the semi-finals. Semi-final matches will be on Sunday at 5PM to coincide with the annual cookout.
The finals will be held on Monday, May 27th, at 5pm.
All sign ups are on-line at LBC Memorial Day Round Robin Signup (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0b4ea5af29a5f49-memorial1). Sign ups will end Wednesday, May 23rd, at midnight. Please only sign up for one night. If open slots are still available after the 23rd, you can sign-up for both nights.
Volunteers are needed to make this event a continued success. Help is needed to run the Friday and Saturday night round robins (you can help and play on the same night), as well as cooking and running the cookout.
