Join us for the first annual New Realm Brewing Oktoberfest 5K & 1 Mile Dirndl Dash! Dust off your Lederhosen or your Dirndl and meet us on October 5th at Historic Fourth Ward Park. Both races start in the park and finish at New Realm Brewing.
Event Details
This race is a kickoff to the New Realm Brewing Oktoberfest celebration. Stick around after the race for some Oktoberfest fun: Live German Music, German Fare, German Beer & Lots of Lederhosen and Dirndls! All runners get a super soft shirt and a pint after the race (with ID of course!). The 5K is chip timed and offers awards in the following categories: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Male/Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Where your best Oktoberfest garb! Prizes will be given to the best individual and best group outfit!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Giving Kitchen which provides stability for some of the most hard-working and vulnerable members of our community: food services workers.
