Sweet Auburn Barbecue is firing up the steamers and stacking the flavor for one night only. Starting at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 28th, the Poncey-Highland spot will be slinging a lineup of handcrafted bao that bring the heat, the smoke, and a whole lot of personality. Think tender smoked Chinese pulled pork with tangy hoisin and pickled crunch, yellow curry brisket that’s rich, bold, and just the right kind of messy, and kung pao smoked chicken with sweet heat and a crackle of spice in every bite. Each bao brings its own personality and is available for $5 until they’re gone. Alongside the bao takeover, Sweet Auburn’s full menu will be available, plus the bar will be shaking and pouring all night long.
