Each year, more than 5 million people use Woodruff Park. The park’s programs bring an additional 100 people Downtown each week, while special events add 10,000 Downtown visitors annually. In the early 1970s, the park was originally known as Central City Park, and was created through a generous donation from Robert W. Woodruff, former president of The Coca-Cola Company.
