Krispy Kreme Atlanta

Vernon Rudolph founded Krispy Kreme in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on July 13, 1937, and the first Krispy Kreme store was located on South Main Street in what is now called historic Old Salem.

Since Krispy Kreme was founded, it has grown into an international retailer of premium-quality sweet treats. In addition to our Krispy Kreme stores, we sell our premium quality products in supermarkets, convenience stores and other retail outlets throughout the US.

Krispy Kreme's most famous and best-selling product is the glazed, yeast-raised doughnut known as the "Krispy Kreme Original Glazed®.” In addition to the Original Glazed®, each store also offers numerous other varieties of yeast-raised and cake doughnuts. Participating retail stores can also produce shaped doughnuts: hearts, footballs, stars, eggs and pumpkins which are decorated with icing and sprinkles.
