Fayda Institutes goal is to bring to light the extraordinary nature of the West African Scholarly Tradition. It is our assertion that most of the world in general and much of the Muslim world in particular, know very little about the brilliance of West Africas Muslim Scholars.
Indeed, Islam in West Africa is heavily infused with deep spirituality. This spirituality comes from the emphasis that Ihsan or Excellence is the ultimate goal of the believer. This idea forces spirituality to permeate all of the sciences as taught by the Muslim scholars of West Africa.
It is our contention that the Muslim world has veered away from the striving towards Ihsan and overall Excellence. Therefore, we believe it will be of benefit to begin teaching the deen from a perspective (West African Islamic Scholarly Perspective) that has been ignored, overlooked and at time ridiculed as superstitious or mystical.
Using the medium of the internet, Fayda Institute will host live classes by qualified scholars, in all of the sciences of the religion as taught by the eminent Ulamah of West Africa.
Our Ijaaza program will be affordable and easily accessible by most.
