8 screens. Built 1987. Operated by Landmark since 2003. Located in the Midtown Promenade Center (at 8th & Monroe), the Midtown Art Cinema is the premier home for independent, foreign language and documentary films in the heart of intown Atlanta.
The renovated lobby is a sight to see! The concession stand boasts a fine selection to choose from including gourmet candies, baked goods and other unique treats. The art deco design is an inviting place for guests to meet and visit with friends before a film. It does not take more than a few steps outside of the theatre to enjoy international cuisine at not one, but two restaurants in the courtyard. Several other eateries are also located in the shopping center.
The Midtown Art Cinema offers craft beers, with a selection of wines and spirits at the concession stand.
The Midtown Art Cinema welcomes customers with special needs. All auditoriums are fully accessible as well as accommodations at our concession stand and restrooms. Closed captioning and hearing / visual impaired access is available for select films.
