Sip & Scent Candle-Making Class at Distillery of Modern Art

It’s back-to-school season, so there’s no better time to learn the art of candle-making at Distillery of Modern Art during its Sip & Scent class on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Beginning at 2:30 p.m., classgoers will be greeted with a cocktail from the award-winning distillery, cocktail lounge, and gallery before a seasoned instructor leads an interactive, educational and fun experience. Participants will explore different waxes, wicks, candle care and pouring along with choosing fragrances and essential oils to create a one-of-a-kind soy and coconut wax candle in highball glass. Not only will candlemakers leave with a new set of skills, but they will receive elegant packaging materials to safely take their custom candle home. Sip & Scent is for ages 21 and up.
