Description
The Task Force for Global Health is one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations. Among our initiatives, we're helping eliminate four debilitating infectious diseases by 2025. We're passionate advocates for the health needs of the world's poor – and believe all people should have access to the means for good health.
The Task Force for Global Health is an Emory University affiliate located in Decatur, GA. Our eight programs focus on solving complex health problems that affect vulnerable populations around the world and building durable systems that protect and promote health.
The Task Force for Global Health was recognized for its extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering with the 2016 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize, the world's largest award of its kind. The Task Force is ranked among the largest nonprofits in the United States due to in-kind contributions of medicines and vaccines from major pharmaceutical companies valued at billions of dollars annually.
